Wisconsin Requests Money for Statewide eFiling

Wisconsin's Consolidated Court Automation Program is seeking an estimated $660,000 per year from the state to expand its' efiling program statewide.

"It would then have been maintained with an additional filing fee..." said Deb Brescoll, budget and policy director for the state courts office.

If Wisconsin proceeds on this course it will be interesting to see how the cost escalates as CCAP learns of the expenses involved in providing support to the attorneys who will use the system and the maintenance of the system itself.
